Another speaker has been added to the list of Distinguished Speakers appearing in the Poncho Perfection Hall of Fieros from 7:00pm – 10:00pm this coming Saturday the 11th of August!
Ben Scheiwe was Assigned to the original TEAM FIERO as PMD financial liaison specialist from the initial concept approval process through prototype build to the preliminary product and facilities planning initiation and build out.
Later, he helped launch PONTIAC MOTORSPORTS! His management responsibilities included direct Interface with sanctioning bodies NASCAR, NHRA, IHRA, IMSA, SCCA, and, USAC!
FIERO Motorsports Specific experience includes IMSA and, SCCA team development, coordination and, promotion. He was part of the 1984 INDY 500 Pace Car Program.
Later, he was involved in Fiero aftermarket and prototype work including the PPG Pace Car Body.
